Head back up to where the summoner was, and then take the stairs at the end down and around, where you'll find an NPC on the left. There's also a doorway beneath where the summoner was, and to the left you can find a Hidden Blessing on a corpse. ![]() If you go down the bridge, you'll find a Large Soul of a Weary Warrior, an Ember, 2 Budding Green Blossoms and 2 Titanite Chunks on corpses. Once the summoner is dead, you'll get a Divine Blessing and a Titanite Chunk. His shades will appear again to try and fire arrows at you, and there is also another shade that he can spawn that is a black knight that will use a Black Knight Greataxe to try and melee attack you. Around the ledge near it, you'll find a ladder that you can climb up to find this large man who summoned the shades attacking you. On the opposite side, there will be a Crystal Lizard. ![]() At this point, his deadliest attack is the dark energy beam, which will cover almost the entire arena and cause a series of explosions that can be fatal. If you continue going down the bridge but stay on the right side, you'll find a ledge that you can drop down from that you can find a Soul of a Crestfallen Kight at the bottom of. Once Midir has lost half of his health, he will begin channeling the Abyss to summon large humanity orbs that will follow you. You will want to be wary of his lunging bites, flames, and dark beam attacks, though. While Midir will also attack with his claws and tail, these aren't as deadly. To avoid this, make sure that you are centered with Midir so that you can see his incoming attacks and avoid moving in the wrong direction when the camera flips. While Midir’s massive size is intimidating, it can also shift your camera angle, which can make the fight more complicated. However, they are slow weapons, so they won't do you much good. Since Midir is an Abyssal enemy, he has a weakness to the Wolf Knight's Greatsword and the Farron Greatsword. Sellsword twinblades, Warden twinblades, Carthus, Caestus, Corvian Great Knife, or whatever you consider the quickest weapon for your playstyle should work. Consider using a fast weapon, as you will only have a few opportunities to strike at his head. ![]()
